Construction Company in Valencia, CA is looking for a full time Administrative Assistant to assist with a variety of tasks from basic administrative duties such as preparing FedEx packages and data entry, to more complex items such as analyzing insurance documents and assisting with budgets.
Temp to Hire through Quantum Staffing
Full time – 40 hours/week
$18.00 – $22.00/hour DOE
Required skills and experience:
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word & Outlook:
- Excel – knowledge of formulas, functions, formatting, and troubleshooting
- Word –knowledge of basic formatting and document creation, saving, etc.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in some form of office or professional setting
- Professional, presentable, and personable
- Great attitude, willing to do whatever necessary to get the job done
- Teachable and reliable
- Able to multi-task
Desired Skills and experience:
- Experience in the construction industry a plus
- Experience dealing with commercial lines of insurance, such as General Liability, Work Comp, and Auto (specific to the construction industry)
- Knowledge of construction liens and lien releases.
- Some college or technical education.
