Valencia Manufacturing Company is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Facilities department. We are looking for a strong admin with manufacturing and accounting experience to maintain orders in the Facilities Department.
This is a long term temp to hire position through Quantum Staffing with one of the world’s largest Aerospace Manufacturing Companies.
Full time, M-F, 8-5pm.
$18.00 – $20.00/hour DOE
Various administration duties include the following:
- Write up requisition
- Track & input requisitions in Access & Quickbase
- Track purchase orders
- File completed packing slips & req’s
- Expense Reports
- Occasional Travel arrangements
- Facilities Credit Card report & receipts
- Arrange monthly Safety training for Facilities department
- Order & track oil requests
- File and organize Carts Rules & Regulations
- Manage uniform requests with G&K/Cintas
- Schedule calibrations/certificates for various equipment
- Monthly gantry downtime in Access and Maximo
- Make & manage security badges in software
- Organize Facilities PTO requests & input into Facilities calendar
- Order supplies and all Facilities office supplies
- Manage, track, sign off and coordinate all hazardous waste orders
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have minimum of 1 year administration experience in manufacturing
- Must have a HS Diploma and/or GED
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge with Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
- Experience working with an ERP/MRP system
- Ability to learn various software
